When the reality of college expenses hit hard, I found myself scouring the internet, desperate to find a way to make money that fit around my crazy class schedule. During one of those late-night searches, I came across a mom blogger who was earning a full-time income from her site. Seeing her success sparked something in me—if she could do it while juggling the demands of being a full-time mom, why couldn’t I give it a shot too?

That’s how The College Glow-Up came to life. Driven by a mix of ambition and genuine excitement, I started writing about the things I knew best: surviving and thriving in college. From productivity hacks to budget-saving tips and making your college experience shine, I’m here to share what I’m learning along the way. It’s a work in progress, but I’m eager to see where this journey will take me.

Hi, I’m Taylor! I’m a junior at Temple University, living off-campus with three of my best friends and loving every second of the college life.

Ever since I was little, I’ve been passionate about creating—whether it’s dreaming up small businesses or finding new ways to unleash my creativity. I’m currently pursuing a degree in marketing, which feels like the perfect fit for someone like me who’s always full of ideas.

Outside of school, I’ve danced for nine years and still love it. I also have recently been obsessed with snowboarding and shopping—good thing Walnut street is just a few train stops away from my campus! Whether I’m hitting the stores or hitting the slopes, I love staying active and enjoying life.

When I’m not out and about, I’m just as happy staying in for a cozy night. My favorite way to unwind? Watching Gilmore Girls (I’ve rewatched it nine times—yes, really).

One thing I’m truly passionate about is helping other students navigate the ups and downs of college life. When I first started at Temple, I had no idea what I was doing or what to expect. Now, with a bit of experience under my belt, I’m excited to share what I’ve learned and help others feel more prepared for this crazy, wonderful journey.
